A find

A find

I found these pictures at a garage sale one Saturday for $2 a piece and I LOVE them. They are water color paintings. The two girl's are so Mia and Sadie, and I picture Knox and Wit growing up to look something like the two boys. They live in the dinning room..... ... Read More...

Our fall front porch

Our fall front porch

I just love fall, and mums, and cooler weather. We are LIVING outside now that the temps are cooling off. Wit’s eczema can’t handle the hot humidity, so poor baby has been cooped up all summer. Strange to say I know, but I had no other choice. It was either that or bleeding and crying and more steroids. Now here we emerge from our hibernation ready for action this fall and winter. Guess I better get a good quality coat! Ooops I lost a mum already! Found the crows, pumpkins, hay, and ... Read More...

You know how it goes….

You know how it goes….

You know how it goes..... You have a to do list a mile long, but the kiddos get sick, and the baby wants to nurse ALL THE TIME, and you try and keep the sick kiddos away from the baby, but a certain 21 month old likes to steal the baby's paci when you aren't looking, put the paci in his germ infested mouth and then back in the babies mouth. So the baby gets a cold and you catch the cold from the baby or the 21 month old....who knows!!! Then the to do list is still sitting there from when you made it 2 ... Read More...

The Girl’s Bathroom

The Girl’s Bathroom

Now that Knox is almost 10 weeks, we are starting to fall into a good rhythm, and I am trying to squeeze in a few projects here and there through out the week. First up.... the girl's bathroom. I took these before photos early in my pregnancy with Knox. The bathroom is a "Jack and Jill." Here is Sadie's side. The middle - shared space..... And into Mia's side So far I have wallpaper down (I HATE WALLPAPER!!!!!!!), cabinets painted, mirrors down, and a whole lot more to ... Read More...

2 months

2 months

Wow 2 months! 2 months as a mother of 4!!! It's been well interesting. We've had some wonderful highs where everyone is smiling, in a great mood, and loving on each other, and then moments of total crazy where all 4 kids are screaming at the top of their lungs at the same time about something or other. Sleepless nights, no naps, and tween meltdowns. Mothering two boys under two is not a task for the faint of heart. It's non stop, all the time, 24 hrs a day. I am beyond thankful though for Wit's amazing ... Read More...

Back to school, fall, and other tid bits……

We went back to school August 18th, and WOW things have been flying around here at warp speed! Sadie started Kindergarten and Mia 2nd grade. This little guy is 6 weeks old! I am so blessed and thankful for his chill and easy going spirit. He slept 6.5 hours last night! Wit didn't come close to this till almost 6 months! I am in full fall mode, and the girls and I took a trip to good old Walmart today to stock up on some Halloween decor for their rooms. Which by the way, I give up trying to ... Read More...

Life with 4

Life with 4

I love this picture. Each child is chilling out in front of a summer movie. Notice Wit took over the baby bouncer chair. Of course he hated it as a baby! Now it has become a 19 month's Lazy Boy. So life with four....oh my goodness! Crazy and fun all wrapped in one package. Drew was home for the 1st two weeks for a little honeymoon with Knox, and boy was it wonderful. We spent our days playing nonstop, and it allowed me to get a nap everyday! Knox is a great baby. He nurses well, sleeps well, and we are ... Read More...
